Smoky Platinum Mosaic: The Platinum Smoke 2x2 Straight Joint Matte Porcelain Mosaic Tile features a soft, smoky grey tone with a refined matte surface, delivering a contemporary, sophisticated look that works as an accent or full-field finish.
Premium Porcelain Mosaic Construction: Manufactured from durable porcelain, the 2x2 units are typically mounted on mesh-backed sheets for fast, accurate installation—offering excellent resistance to moisture, staining, and everyday wear.
Straight Joint (Grid) Layout: The straight-joint grid provides consistent, uniform grout lines for a clean, geometric appearance—ideal for minimalist, industrial, and modern design schemes.
Matte Finish for Low-Glare Texture: The matte surface offers a soft, non-reflective look with pleasant tactility and improved visual slip characteristics compared with polished mosaics.
Small-Format Flexibility: The 2x2 format is perfect for shower floors, niches, backsplashes, transition bands, curved surfaces, and decorative borders where larger tiles are impractical or where extra traction is desired.
Easy Maintenance: Porcelain’s low porosity keeps maintenance simple—routine sweeping and mild cleaning preserve tile and grout appearance for years.
Interior & Select Exterior Use: Ideal for bathroom walls, shower floors (verify COF), kitchen backsplashes, niches and feature walls. For exterior or submerged applications (pools, patios), confirm frost and submerged-use ratings with the manufacturer.
Design Coordination: Pair Platinum Smoke mosaics with lighter field tiles for contrast or match them with Smoke field tiles for a cohesive, moody scheme—great for residential, hospitality, and commercial accents.
